Weitz Lab Members Present Research at the Cambridge Porous Media Workshop

The 2024 Cambridge Porous Media Workshop was successfully held at Schlumberger-Doll Research, Cambridge, MA, August 12-13. The workshop was hosted by SPE New York & New England and the Section Boston Chapter of the SPWLA, and jointly organized by Schlumberger-Doll Research, Harvard University and China University of Petroleum Beijing. The workshop delves into new energy, new sciences and new technologies for understanding and engineering the structure, flow and dynamics of porous media. Workshop attendees include scholars, industrial experts and students from the US, Canada, Europe and China. These series workshops have started from 2017 By Weitz, Xiao and Song, it has been twice a year, one was in Beijing, and one was in Boston each year before the pandemic. It was moved online during the pandemic and back to in person workshop 2023 in Beijing, China and 2024 in Cambridge, MA, USA.
