December 6, 2023

On Wednesday 10/4/2023, to support the Women+ of Color Project, Weitz Lab opened its doors and organized a special visit for several students guiding them through the world of synthetic and biological materials.

On Tuesday 11/28/2023, Mauro Colagreco, Chef and Owner of Mirazur (France) visited Weitz Lab with his team. Chef Colagreco and Chef Luca Mattioli enjoyed seeing some microfluidics for making gel shells. Mirazur was crowned the No. 1 ranking on The World’s 50 Best Restaurants and received a third Michelin star in 2019 – after ten years of climbing the rankings list since its 2009 debut. End of 2022, Chef Colagreco was the first chef nominated UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador for Biodiversity.
